Maintenance Products - Rubio Monocoat Repair Oil

PERIODIC REJUVENATION
Maintaining the oil finish. This should be done only when the “luster” of the oil finish has diminished.

1. Vacuum the floor with a soft brush attachment. Damp mop the floor with Monocoat Natural Cleaner solution and allow to dry (good air movement will decrease the dry time).
2. Lightly apply the same Monocoat oil that was originally used to finish the floor and let the oil react for 10 minutes.
3. Buff off the excess oil with a cotton cloth under a white pad.
4. Let the oil dry (approx. 12 hours) before you walk on it.

RESTORATION
Restoring worn floors or slightly changing the color.

1. Buff the surface with a #M Black pad and polish with a #M Green pad. Sweep and vacuum to remove the dust. Dampen the floor with water. Allow to dry completely (good air movement will decrease the dry time).
2. Lightly apply the same Monocoat Oil, that was used originally to coat the floor and let it react for 10 minutes.
3. Buff off the excess oil with a cotton cloth under a white pad.
4. Use the same process if you want to change to a slightly different color.
5. Let the oil dry (approx. 12 hours) before you walk on it.

SPOT REPAIRS
Repairing deep scratches and marks.

1. Sand the repair area as needed to remove damage and expose raw wood.
2. Dampen the area with water. Allow to completely dry.
3. Apply, with a cotton cloth, the same color oil that was used originally to coat the floor.
4. Let it react for 10 minutes. Wipe the excess oil off with a cloth, dampened with Monocoat Oil.

Repairing minor scratches and marks.
Follow the above instructions but skip sanding.
